Pilates is a safe and effective form of low-impact exercise for individuals with neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. These conditions often impact muscle tone, strength, balance, and coordination—making regular, guided movement essential for maintaining function and independence.
Clinical Pilates uses specialised equipment to assist or resist movement, allowing for highly adaptable exercises that improve core strength, posture, mobility, and body awareness. Core stability is especially important in daily tasks like standing, walking, and reaching.
You will receive a full assessment and a tailored program based on your needs, goals, and current level of function. The aim is to build confidence, improve movement quality, and help you reach your full potential.
