Prenatal Pilates (During Pregnancy)
Prenatal Pilates is a gentle yet effective way to stay active throughout pregnancy. It helps you prepare for birth by strengthening your core and pelvic floor, maintaining mobility through the trunk and pelvis, and supporting posture as your body changes.
Each session is tailored to your trimester, medical history, and personal experience—whether you’re managing pregnancy-related discomfort or simply want to stay strong and mobile. Pilates is safe in all trimesters with appropriate modifications. A screening form is required prior to starting, and for complex pregnancies, consent from your gynaecologist may be needed.
Postnatal Pilates (After Birth)
Postnatal Pilates supports your recovery after childbirth—whether via vaginal delivery or caesarean section. These sessions address common postpartum concerns such as pelvic floor dysfunction, diastasis recti, low back pain, and neck, shoulder, or wrist strain from feeding and holding your baby.
Programs are customised based on your birth experience, medical background, and individual goals. You’ll be asked to complete a postnatal screening questionnaire, and most clients begin from around 6 weeks post-birth, with clearance from a midwife or gynaecologist, especially after complications.
The focus is on restoring strength, posture, flexibility, and mobility—helping you reconnect with your body and move forward with confidence.
